The Manor House sleeps 8 + nursery, with indoor heated pool, gym and games room
This beautifully renovated stone manor house is set in a rural landscape but within easy distance of the town of Plouguenast, mid Brittany. It sleeps eight very comfortably in three double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a separate well equipped nursery. The kitchen is fully equipped including microwave. washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The lounge is comfortably furnished with Free Sat UK and French reception and the house is centrally heated and has a wood log burner for those cooler off peak evenings. Bed linen is supplied but you will need your own towels. The bathroom has bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin.

The cottage ha a large lounge area with exposed chestnut beams, 2 large comfy sofas,32" flat screen TV with free to air UK TV channels and DVD player. The modern kitchen includes a NEFF built in oven and gas hob, BOSCH integrated dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave, coffee maker along with large solid oak dining table and 6 matching chairs. The master bedroom has matching pine furniture including double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, cheval mirror and an en-suite bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Both bedroom 2 and 3 has 2 single pine beds and wardrobes. The cottage is set in 1/2 an acre of lawn garden with a large patio area near the cottage with table and chairs, BBQ and sun parasol. The heated swimming pool is approx 8m by 4m with a patio area facing south and has sun loungers and parasol for our guests use. The swimming pool is available from mid May to MID September. The swimming pool is fenced off from the house and also has an alarm system which complies to French regulations. The pool is heated by an air source heat pump. Outside you will find lovely grounds. Wonderful views over the surrounding open countryside. Ground floor is open plan in the traditional Breton style. Roof beams, trusses and original stone walls are exposed throughout. The kitchen is well equipped with a full gas cooker, microwave, washing machine, fridge, coffee maker. Heating by wood burning stoves and electric wall heaters.
From the lounge is a feature open tread staircase leading to a double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, and family shower room. All bedrooms are carpeted.
Private garden with BBQ and garden furniture. The cottage is self catering and is equipped to a very high standard. Outside: the cottage has its own private garden with BBQ and garden furniture. There is fishing at Lac de Dordu which is adjacent to the gardens and is stocked with large common carp, large pink, tench and perch. Fishing permits can be purchased from the owners on a daily or weekly basis which allows fishing in all the lakes in Morbihan. The cottage is set amidst beautiful countryside approximately 2 miles from the local village of Guern, 10 miles from the historic town of Pontivy and a 45 minute drive from Vannes and 30 minutes to the renown southern coast of Brittany.
Theself catering holiday accommodation comprises one double and two twin rooms, a separate WC and bathroom with shower on the first floor.
On the ground floor there is a large fitted farmhouse kitchen, a very comfortable lounge with log-burning stove and cloakroom.There is also central heating for comfortable off-season lets. A cot and highchair are available.
The location is ideal for outdoor pursuits. It is close to 250 acre forest with an abundance of wildlife and many species of bird life, including the magnificent kingfisher.
The property still has many of the original granite buildings, some of which have been utilized for the benefit of the visitors, but still retaining the charm of the country property.
Surrounding the cottage there is approximately 8 acres of meadowland and more formal lawns through which the River Sarre meanders with good trout and pike fishing.The mill leat feeds a large pond in front of the house and whilst swimming and paddling can take place it is advisable to always ensure young children are supervised. A canoe is provided for further enjoyment of the water at visitors own risk.
There is ample space for outdoor games too. A barbecue and garden furniture are provided and there is badminton and petangue. The latter are shared facilities with THE COTTAGE next door which is also available for renting together with MAISON BLANCHE for large groups.
A 2m plunge pool is also provided to add to your enjoyment of the garden.
Fishing is permitted from the garden or surrounding meadow and licences are easily obtained.

Treblavet, carefully restored and adjoining Minazen (6), is equipped to a very high standard, decorated in tasteful, harmonious colours with large, sunny bedrooms and a private garden with hedges and a grassy bank for privacy.
The ground floor has the fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, full cooker, microwave etc; which gives on to the dining and lounge area. There is also a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Also downstairs you will find a double bedroom with private ensuite shower room and separate toilet.
Upstairs there are two further bedrooms (so three in total), one triple room with three single beds and the other a family room with one double and one single. There is also a family shower room and separate 2nd toilet. For your further comfort bed linen is provided and bathroom towels are available to rent at 6€ (bath & hand towels). The Manor House sleeps 8 + nursery, with indoor heated pool, gym and games room
This beautifully renovated stone manor house is set in a rural landscape but within easy distance of the town of Plouguenast, mid Brittany. It sleeps eight very comfortably in three double bedrooms, one twin bedroom and a separate well equipped nursery. The kitchen is fully equipped including microwave. washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The lounge is comfortably furnished with Free Sat UK and French reception and the house is centrally heated and has a wood log burner for those cooler off peak evenings. Bed linen is supplied but you will need your own towels. The bathroom has bath with overhead shower, toilet and wash basin.
